Ronald Earl Reed, 75, of Vichy, passed away suddenly at his home April 23, 2024.
He was born Aug. 16, 1948, to Arthur and Laura Wools Reed in Waynesville.
He was united in marriage to Sandra Glenn, Jan. 4, 1991, by Brother Jim Epperson at the St. James Christian Church in St. James.
Ron was a salesman for Hutcheson Ford in St. James and Weidenger’s Chevrolet in Vienna for many years. He also worked for Patriot Homes.
He is survived by wife, Sandra of 33 years, of the home; sons, John Reed of Rolla, Ronnie Reed of Springfield, and Scott Reed and wife Karen of Muncy, Penn.; sisters, Shirley Hart of Vichy, and Cheri Reasoner of St Charles; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held May 4, at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Brother Gary Lane officiating. Burial of his ashes will follow the memorial services at Skaggs Chapel Cemetery near Belle. Memorials suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
