Belle High School (BHS) teacher Sarah Mouser was presented with an award by South Central Missouri’s local high school science and chemistry teachers prior to the Oct. 19 pep assembly and fall sports recognition. BHS Principal Garrett Hasalg nominated Mouser for the American Chemistry Society award that came with $500 to spend on classroom science supplies. Mouser, who didn’t know about the award, cried during the presentation.
