Ada Louise “Lou” Clark, 97, of Dixon, passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2023.
She was born May 28, 1926, to Henry Courtney and Maple Clara (Miller) Moody in Owensboro, Ky.
She was united in marriage to Dalton Lindsey (Dale) Clark, March 23, 1952, in Reno, Nev.
Lou was a member of the Dixon United Methodist Church since 1957, and a former member of the Happy Homemakers Club.
She was employed as a child care provider for many years.
She is preceded in death by husband, Dalton; parents, Henry and Maple; brothers, Bill Moody and Tom Moody; and granddaughter, Kalen Clark.
Lou is survived by sons, William “Billy” Harris (Norma Jean) of Battlefield, and Jimmy Clark (Elaine) of Dixon; daughters, Brenda Howser (Wayne) of Nixa, and Carol Koch (Alan) of Lee’s Summit; brother, Bobby Moody of Elkhart, Ind.; sister, Barbara Phillips of Owensboro, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Birmingham- Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, with Pastor Alan Koch and Rev. Mitchel Henson officiating. Interment was in Dixon Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to Dixon United Methodist Church.
