Andrea Kay Powers, 51, of Dixon, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, in University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia.
She was born Aug. 18, 1972, to Charles Junior and Beverly Kay (Ayers) Straight in Gallipolis, Ohio.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence Dean Powers, Dec. 31, 1996, at Dixon.
Andrea was a member of the Grace Covenant, Buckhorn.
She was preceded in death by father, Charles; son, Russell Powers; and maternal grandparents, Hoover and Ruby (Casto) Ayers.
She is survived by husband, Dean of their home near Dixon; mother, Beverly of Ripley, W.Va.; children, Devon Gant of Dixon, Keith (Kelly) Straight of St. Robert, Ashley (Brandon) Zayed of Ripley, W.Va., Christopher (Jordyn) Gant of Iberia and Elizabeth (David) Graver of Lebanon; brothers, Michael (Carolyn) Straight and Adrain Straight; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 29, at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, with Pastor Paul Wood officiating. Interment was in the Hazelgreen Cemetery, in Laclede County.
Memorials suggested to the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia.
