A two vehicle fatal crash at 7:55 a.m. closed Highway 63 just south of Highway 50 for several hours Wednesday morning. Lacey Clark, 22, of Bland driving a 2016 Chevy Equinox crossed the center line into the path of a 2004 Chevy Suburban driven by Regina Troesser, 44, of Bonnots Mill according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) report. Troesser was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroner Michael Bonham at 9:17 a.m. Clark was transported by Arch helicopter to University Missouri Hospital in Columbia in serious condition. Both vehicles were totaled but both drivers were wearing safety devices. The crash was worked by MSHP officers CPL E. T. Hane and Major Crash Investigation Unit SGT P. W. Meyers. This is Troop F’s eighth fatality for September and 48th for 2019.
