Clifford Edward Robertson Sr., 78, Vienna, formerly of Dixon, passed away Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020, at his residence.
He was born March 6, 1942, to Granvil Lee and Ella Irene (Adams) Robertson, at Dixon (Mungy Holler).
He was united in marriage to Virginia Sue Huffman, Sept. 5, 1964, at Dixon.
Clifford was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. He worked at Brown Shoe Company until its closing and then for Jefferson City Correction Center, retiring in 2005.
He was preceded in death by parents, Granvil and Ella; and brothers, Gene, Dean and Fred J. Robertson.
He is survived by wife, Virginia, of Vienna; son, Clifford Robertson Jr. and wife Mary of Washington; daughters, Tina Leavell and husband Robert of Vienna and Sherry Robertson Aaron of Dixon; brothers, Austin Robertson of St. Louis, Raymond Robertson of New Haven, George Robertson and wife Dorothy of Vienna, Paul Robertson and wife Shirley of Bourbon, Bobby Robertson of Dixon and Benny Robertson and wife Jan of Holts Summit; sisters, Helen Bax of Jefferson City and Betty Hartley of St. James; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Pastor Adam Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Kenner Cemetery near Dixon.
