Clyde Thurman Woods, 75, Dixon, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 21, 1944, to Audley S. and Betty June (Miller) Woods, at Burneyville, Okla.
He was united in marriage to Dortha Ann Kerr, Dec. 1, 1966, at Marietta, Okla.
Clyde served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1985 reaching the rank of First Sergeant (E8) before working in food service at Fort Leonard Wood.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Audley; mother, Betty; dad, Loyd Baccus; grandparents, Edgar and Marguerite Miller; brother, Sam Hernaiz; and son-in-law, Brian Gaskill.
He is survived by wife, Dortha, of Dixon; daughters, Lisa Woods of Dixon, Shelia Moore and husband Tim of Maryland and April Seiffert and husband Brian of Ellisville; sister, Sue Ann Jackson of Thackerville, Okla.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sammy and Wanda Brewer, and David and June Kerr and Jerry Kerr, all of Marietta, Okla, and Carlton and Billie Kerr of Dexter; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 21, at Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home, Dixon. Burial with military honors was in the Pisgah Cemetery near Dixon.
