Unable to play their spring season earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris Feeler’s Belle Tiger fall baseball team is itching to get back on the field.

“We’re looking forward to getting back on the field after losing our spring season,” Feeler said.

Belle will be led by the senior trio of Lane Feeler, Jeb Seaver and Jace Gieck.

Juniors rounding out the list of upperclassmen for Feeler’s Tigers include Nathan Valley and Dalton McDaniel.

Sophomores making up the majority of the team are Cole Loughridge, Isaiah Sullinger, Kameron Newton, Sam Willis, Taner Devine, Rance Horstman, Kaiden Robertson and Zane Strunk.

Freshmen rounding out the Tiger fall baseball roster include Clayton Shockley, Carter Kinkead, Brayden Cadwallader and Stevie LeRoux.

“Fall season is a great time for growth before the spring,” Feeler said. “We’re looking forward to embracing the challenges and the opportunities this young team will face this fall.”

Feeler will be assisted this fall by former Belle Tiger baseball player Lane Sanders.

Three days removed from hosting their fall baseball jamboree, Belle will open the fall season at home on Friday hosting Richland’s Bears at 5 p.m., at Belle City Park.

Belle’s first road action of the season will be Saturday, Aug. 29 in Cairo facing the host Bearcats and Brashear’s Tigers.

Throughout the fall, Belle will play home games against Linn, Calvary Lutheran, Licking, Newburg and Laquey.

Road action for Feeler’s Tigers will take them to Eugene, St. Elizabeth, New Bloomfield, Bourbon, Plato, Vienna and Iberia.

They will also play in tournaments at Vienna and Stoutland.

“We play a tough fall schedule and are excited to be back on the field,” Feeler said.
