Delpha Lavern Jones, 73, Belle, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, at her residence.   

She was born Jan. 5, 1946, to Victor and Delcie (Seig) Butler, in Belle.

She was united in marriage to Jim Jones, Jan. 14, 1966, at the preacher’s home in Belle.

Delpha was a lifelong resident of Belle. She graduated from Belle High School in 1964 with Valedictorian honors. She had been employed at the Belle/Bland Bank in Bland and Brown Shoe Company in Owensville and owned a operated the Bell Kafe. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Belle Restoration Branch.

She was preceded in death by parents, Victor and Delcie; and siblings, Ruth Party, Billy Butler, Bobby Butler, Doris Altemeyer and Lonnie Butler.

She is survived by sons, Eugene Jones and wife Connie and Shawn Jones and wife Angie, all of Belle; daughter, Catrina Struemph and husband Kirt of Belle; siblings, Mary Woemmel, Donna Buddemeyer, Linda Rogers and husband Dan and Joey Butler and wife Carol, all of Belle, Norma Jean Harris and husband Jewel of Vida, Lorna Stogsdill and husband Donnie of Rolla and Jerry Butler of Arrow Rock; and 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Dec. 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ Belle Restoration Branch from 2-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service.
