Derek Conrad Holtmeyer, 35, of Linn, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024.
He was born July 3, 1988, to Beth Ann (Brauner) Holtmeyer and the late Robert Conrad Holtmeyer in Jefferson City.
Derek was a 2005 graduate of Linn High School and a graduate of State Technical College in Linn with an associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Distribution Systems (Lineman).
He was employed at a variety of businesses including Quaker Windows, ABB, Modern Litho, and Thoenen Turkey Loading.
Derek was preceded in death by father, Robert; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Dorothy Brauner; and paternal grandparents, Ignatius “Stub” and Dolores Holtmeyer.
He is survived by his mother, Beth of Linn; daughter, Hailey Holtmeyer; best friend and Hailey’s mom, Angie Ablondi, both of Freeburg; and sibling, Morgan “Travis” (Alicia) Holtmeyer of Belle.
A Celebration of Derek’s Life will be held Saturday, March 9, at 12 p.m. at Barefoot Event Center, Linn, with Pastor Kayla Kelly-Beard officiating. The celebration of Derek’s Life will continue after the service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hailey Holtmeyer Education Fund.
