Donna F. Buddemeyer, 79, of Belle passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family.

Donna was born April 3, 1944, a daughter to the late Victor J. and Delcie (Seig) Butler in Rolla.

She was a life-long area resident, a graduate of Belle High School and a member of the RLDS Church in Linn.

Donna was employed at both the Brown and International Shoe companies for over 30 years. She also worked at the Belle school in the lunchroom for a time.

She was united in marriage to Charlie Buddemeyer, June 17, 1961. and from this union two sons were born. Although they divorced, they remained close friends.

Donna enjoyed keeping her yard looking nice, gardening, and canning what she gathered from the garden. She was very social and liked visiting with friends and family, playing Uno and other card games and going to yard sales. Donna was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking and baking as well as reading and doing crossword and word search books. She had a great sense of humor, was kind and giving, and was always one to help out someone in need. She was absolutely crazy about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her best times were spent with them and the rest of her family. Donna was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by her community as well as her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Victor and Delcie; sisters, Delpha Jones, Mary Woemmel, Norma Harris, Doris Altemeyer and Ruth Party; brothers, Billy Butler, Bobby Butler and Lonnie “Shadetree” Butler; grandson, Charles “Toot” Buddemeyer, Jr.; nephew, Mathew Rogers; and daughter-in-law, Christina Buddemeyer.

Donna is survived by sons, Dwayne Buddemeyer of Bland and Carl Buddemeyer and wife Melissa of Belle; grandchildren, Brock Buddemeyer and wife Melody, Brittany Rehmert and husband Tristan, Dillon Mapstone and wife Danielle, Garit Kinsey and wife Madeline, Travis Duke and wife Sarah, Brandon White, Bradly White and Jada Slayton and husband William; great-grandchildren, Shaddix, Leighton, Gracie, Scarlett, Leilani, Brantley, Atlas, Stetson, Kalia, Kaylie, Austin and Parker; brothers, Jerry Butler of Blackwater and Joey Butler and wife Carol of Belle; and sisters, Linda Rogers and husband Dan of Belle and Lorna Stogsdill of Rolla; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation for Donna will be Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Belle Restoration Branch. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m.
