Eleanor Marie (Vaughan) Humphrey Baugher, 78, Osage Beach, formerly of Dixon, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, in the Osage Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Osage Beach.
She was born July 20, 1942, to Rockford Adolph Washington and Eleanor Mary (Clark) Vaughan in Dixon.
She was united in marriage to Charles Humphrey, Aug. 12, 1961 and to Robert “Bob” Baugher, Oct. 26, 1979.
Eleanor was employed with Brown Shoe Company and the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton.
She was a member of the Burnett Christian Church, the Newtown Baptist Church, the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton and then the First Baptist Church in Plattsburg.
Eleanor was preceded in death by parents, Rockford and Eleanor; husbands, Charles and Robert; granddaughters, Sarah and Maddie O’Connor; brothers, Ralph “Bud” and Dwayne Vaughan; and sister, Mildred Keeran.
She is survived by children, Russel Humphrey of Rocky Mount and Susan “Suzy” O’Connor and husband Patrick of Plattsburg; step-children, James Baugher and wife Linda of Lucerne, Joyce Williams and Mary Stimpson, both of Chillicothe; sister, Pearl Humphrey and husband Jim of Dixon; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 9, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel in Dixon with Rev. Charles Kempf officiating. Interment was in the West Fairview Cemetery near Dixon.Arrangements entrusted to Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Dixon.
