Ethel Pauline Brumble, 82, Vienna, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, in Maries Manor Health Care Center, Vienna.
She was born April 27, 1937, to Calvin Leroy and Sylvia Naomi (Imboden) Brewer, in Maries County.
She was united in marriage to Milton Virgil Brumble, June 16, 1956, at Hermann.
Ethel was baptized into the Christian faith. She had been employed as a dispatcher for the Maries County Sheriff’s Department and also by the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, as an aide in Obstetrics for 26 years prior to her retirement. She also worked as a childcare provider.
She was preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Sylvia; husband, Milton; son-in-law, Steve Akery; sister, Helen Hunziker; and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by children, Billy Brumble and wife Marlene of Mountain View, Cynthia Akery of Dixon, Rata Reeves of Vienna and Jr. Brumble and wife Betty of Dixon; brother, Leslie Brewer of Pueblo, Colo.; sister, Linda Tinsley and husband Rex of Marionville; and eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 22, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor Gary Day of Hancock Christian Church officiating. Interment was in Crismon Cemetery, near Brinktown.
