Geraldine “Geri” Joan Poole, 85, Dixon, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, in Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon.
She was born Aug. 10, 1934, to Almon Lionel and Arlene (Kuether) McColley, at Junction City, Kan.
She was united in marriage to Rufus William Poole.
Geri attended Lighthouse Worship Center near Dixon. She had worked in a boat factory and was later a bartender for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Almon and Arlene; husband, Rufus; sons, William “Winnie” Poole and Rufus C. Poole; daughter, Francis Poole; and sister, Betty Monroe.
She is survived by children, Michael Poole of Tipton, Geraldine “Sissy” and Jessie Kreck of Maiden, N.C., and Patricia Patty and Roger Moody of Dixon; and by nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 19, in the Long-Kleoppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Pastor Loyd Mattocks of Lighthouse Worship Center, Dixon, officiating. Interment was in Pisgah Cemetery.
