Helen Berniece Bullock, 87, Vienna, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, in Maries Manor in Vienna.
She was born Oct. 13, 1933, to Raymond Levi and Beda Helen (Ragan) Nelson, near Dixon.
She was united in marriage Sept. 9, 1953, to Noel Clay “Bob” Bullock, at Dixon.
Helen was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church where she assisted with various programs and activities at the church. She was employed by the Civil Service at the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service Office (ASCS) in Vienna, for over 30 years prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Beda; husband, Bob; son, Roger Dean Bullock; sister, Thelma Louise (Nelson) Withers; parents-in-law, Robert Clay and Minnie Ellen (Trogden) Bullock; sister-in-law, Berniece Pearl (Bullock) James and husband Dr. Norman Alva James.
She is survived by sons, Kevin Bullock and wife Brenda and Dennis Bullock, all of Vienna, and Eric Bullock and wife Kimberly of Jefferson City; daughter, Beth Hollis and husband Rex of Meta; daughter-in-law, Beth Bullock Clinkenbeard and husband Gary of Vienna; brother, Eugene “Gene” Nelson and wife Phyllis of Dixon; sister Barbara Porter and husband Troy of Dixon; brother-in-law, Tommy Dean Withers of Dixon and 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 27, from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services following at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna with Rev. Lynn Quist of Vienna United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Kenner Cemetery near Dixon. Memorial contributions suggested to Kenner Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association.
