James Henry “Jim” Engelmeyer, 61, Meta, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 22, 1958, to Bernard H. and Lucille C. (Luebbering) Engelmeyer, at Tuscumbia.
Jim had worked for Miller County as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.
He was preceded in death by father, Bernard.
He is survived by son, Cody Engelmeyer and wife Megan of Eldon; daughter, Holly Kesel and husband Jason of Jefferson City; mother, Lucille, of Jefferson City; brothers, Ralph Engelmeyer and wife Donna and Sylvester “Butch” Engelmeyer and wife Cathy, all of St. Anthony; sisters, Mary McManus and husband Cash and Patti Joiner, all of Wardsville, Donna Kirkweg and husband Ronnie and Emma Engelmeyer, all of Eldon; and three grandchildren.
A private Mass was held Monday, May 11, in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Joby Thomas as celebrant. Graveside services followed in the St. Anthony Cemetery.
