James Steven “Jim” Gradel, 76, Dixon, formerly of Freeburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, in Phelps Health, Rolla.
He was born April 27, 1944, to Anton Christopher and Odelia Catherine (Haller) Gradel.
Jim was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg.
He was preceded in death by parents, Anton and Odelia; brother, Felix Gradel; and sister, Loretta Gradel.
He is survived by sisters, Betty Stratman of Westphalia and Berniece Marie Gradel of Freeburg.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 2, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. Bill Debo officiating. Interment was in Holy Family Cemetery, Freeburg. Masses or memorial contributions suggested to Holy Family Church and School, Freeburg.
