Janet Ann Myers, 78, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Frene Valley Healthcare in Owensville.
She was born Sept. 23, 1941, to Leo Sr. and Lilly (Mohesky) Parmentier, in Washington.
She was united in marriage to Gerard Myers, Feb. 19, 1966, in Washington.
Janet was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville. She enjoyed cooking and cooking for family meals and outside yard work, especially weed eating. She was known for her chocolate chip cookies and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Lilly; daughter, Ann Myers at birth; siblings, Leo Parmentier Jr. and Shirley Fitzgerald; and brothers-in-law, Ed Leroney, Wayne Myers, Ronald Myers and Fitz Fitzgerald.
She is survived by husband, Gerard, of the home; children, Wendy Hartmann and husband Dennis of St. Clair, Debra Tweedy and significant other Bryan Thompson of Owensville, Craig Myers and significant other Gina Sumner of St. Clair and Michael Myers and wife Brandy of Owensville; siblings, Jerry Parmentier and wife Betty of Washington, Karen Myers of St. Clair and Dale Parmentier and wife Jean of Washington; sisters-in-law, Jackie Parmentier of Washington and Ann Myers of St. Clair; grandchildren, Gregory Tweedy and wife Alicia, Chad and Scott Tweedy, Mason and Makena Myers and Payton, Logan and Brenner Myers; step-granddaughter, Kelsea McKeever and husband Jim; step great-grandson, Leo; nieces, nephews and cousins; and a great-grandchild expected in December.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, Aug. 7. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Father Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial was in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
