Joan Mary Allen, 83, of Argyle, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.
She was born March 5, 1940, to Joseph and Marquerite M. (Mulroy) Kutrip Jr. in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Fredrick Donald Allen, June 5, 1959, in Jennings.
Joan was a member of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Vienna; member of the School Secretary Association; and worked as the school secretary for the Maries R-1 School, Vienna.
She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Marquerite; daughter, Robin Marston; and brothers, Thomas Kutrip and John “Jack” Kutrip.
Joan is survived by husband of 64 years, Donnie, of their home near Vienna; son, Kevin Allen and wife Rhonda of Freeburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and twin brother, Joseph “Joe” Kutrip III of St. Louis.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. Basil Tigga officiating. Interment will be in Vienna Public Cemetery, Vienna.
