John Franklin Robertson, 84, Barnett, formerly of Waynesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, in Dixon Nursing and Rehab Center in Dixon.
He was born Aug. 6, 1935, to William Irvin “Jack” and Gusta Viola (Mahoney) Robertson, at Waynesville.
John was a Waynesville bus driver for many years and later worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Coon Hunters Association.
He was preceded in death by parents, Jack and Gusta; brother, Everett Robertson; and sisters, Ruby Bowles and Lucy Baker.
He is survived by children, Donnie and Theresa Robertson of Dixon, James and Beverly Thompson of Laquey, Sandra Robertson of Barnett and Nancy Thrift of the state of Oklahoma; sisters, Betty Bays and Ollie Koch, both of Columbia; and 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date in the Pisgah Cemetery near Dixon.
