Linda Lee (McGehee) Johnson, 69, Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
She was born Nov. 19, 1949, to Glenn Elwyn and Dixie Lee (Eader) McGehee, in Los Angeles, Calif.
She was united in marriage to Anthony George Johnson Sr., July 9, 1965, in Dixon.
Linda had been employed by Enterprise Development Program (EDP Enterprises) in Fort Leonard Wood. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Plato Chapter No. 240.
She was preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Dixie; husband, Anthony; and sister, Sue.
She is survived by children, Anthony George Johnson Jr. and wife Danielle of Taylorville, Ill., April Dawn Shull and husband Alfred and Theresa Lynn Johnson, all of Springfield, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 10, in the Dixon Chapel of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home. Interment was in West-Fairview Cemetery near Dixon. Memorial contributions suggested to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
