Logan Agan, son of Rob and Amber Agan, signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa, on November 12th, 2018. Logan has had a great high school career as a Vienna Eagle as he has been a 3 time all-state selection as a pitcher, and, as a junior, he was the Gasconade Valley Conference Most Valuable Player and the Class 2 District 8 Player of the Year.  Logan has a high school career record as a pitcher, fall and spring seasons combined, of 37 wins and 6 losses with a total of 405 strikeouts. Logan is also a good offensive player as he hit .494 during the Spring 2018 season with 40 hits, 4 home runs, 30 RBI, and 25 runs scored. He plays good defense as a 1st basemen and 3rd baseman as well. The SCC Blackhawk Baseball program turned in their fourth straight 40 win season with a 43-19 record in 2017, and were the Region 11 Runner Up. SCC has a program record of 473-200 (.702) under SCC Head Coach Justin Schulte - the most winning coach in the state of Iowa. SCC was originally established as Burlington Junior College is 1920, and has provided quality education for almost 100 years. Logan plans to complete an associate of arts degree while at SCC, and then transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelors degree in environmental science, or related degree, to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. Assistant Coach SCC John McVey, Logan Agan, Head Coach Vienna Tyler Shalbot, parents Rob Agan, Amber Agan and High School Principal Ian Murray were at Agan’s signing.
