Lyndon Lee Cox, 59, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Phelps Health in Rolla.

He was born Sept. 2, 1960, to Arthur and Alice (Reed) Cox, in Rolla.

Lyndon attended school in Belle. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the simple farming life. He valued the time he spent on his tractor in the hayfield and raising cattle and hogs. He was a proud father who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed people watching from his front porch. He was a true outdoorsman who liked to hunt and collect John Deere tractors.

He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Alice; son, Travis Cox; grandson, Seth Chimney; and brother, John Cox.

He is survived by children, Katina Chimney and husband Richard, Mary Schlicker and husband Mickey and Justin Cox and wife Shailynn, all of Salem, and Curtis Cox and wife Chaney of Oklahoma; siblings, Ronnie Cox and wife Kathy of Belle, Vicky Caswell and husband Marcus of Michigan and Monica Valley and husband Charles of Belle; and 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 22, at Wilson Mortuary’s Salem Chapel with Pastor Brandon Hall officiating. Interment was in Liberty Cemetery.
