Mark Rafael Duffin, 67, Pacific, formerly of Vienna, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.

He was born July 19, 1951, to Henry Michael and Virginia (Sages) Duffin, in Yonkers, N.Y.

He was united in marriage to Beverley Jane (Geldbach) Haddox, June 5, 2001.

Mark was raised in the Catholic faith. He moved to Vienna in 1977. After graduating from the police academy, he became a deputy in Vienna. He later moved to Pacific and joined the Carpenters Union Local 1839, working in construction in the St. Louis area, as well as on the Callaway Nuclear Plant, prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Virginia; and wife, Beverley.

He is survived by siblings, Woody Duffin and wife Nadine of Peyton, Colo., Brian Duffin and wife Wanda of Pagosa Springs, Colo., Deidre McGuigan and husband Terry of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Craig Duffin and wife Theresa of Berthoud, Colo., and Danae Stuertz and husband Tim of St. Charles.

Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. in the Visitation Catholic Cemetery, Vienna, with Rev. Matthew Flatley officiating. Memorial contributions suggested to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
