Mary Madeline Henry, 94, Rolla, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.
She was born April 14, 1925, to James William and Anna Lee (Grooms) Gilliam, in Huzzah.
She was united in marriage to William Elmer “Bill” Henry Jr., Oct. 12, 1946, in Cuba.
Along with her husband, Mary owned and operated Independent Body Shop in Rolla for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, William and Anna; husband, Bill; sons, William Gary Henry and James Patrick Henry; grandson, Jordan Patrick Henry; and siblings, Edath Brand Ackfeld, Anita Blair, Rebel Gilliam, Betty Jo Cameron, Albert Henry Gilliam, Ralph Gilliam, James Gilliam Sr. and Audrey Gilliam.
She is survived by children, Don Henry and wife Susan of Vichy, John Henry and wife Bonnie of Rogers, Ark., Larry Henry and wife Judy of Camdenton and Linda Schweiss and husband Ron of Rolla; sister, Helen Tiberghein of Imperial; and 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church at a later date. Memorial contributions suggested to Macedonia Cemetery, Rolla.
