Maries County deputies recently responded to a report about a robbery in the Dixon area where the victim stated masked men entered his home and tied him up.
Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman said the incident occurred in the evening hours of Sept. 13, at the 21000 block of Highway 28 west near Dixon. It was reported three men wearing masks broke into the victim’s house, tied him up with electrical tape, and stole his truck.
The vehicle later was recovered and processed by deputies. The incident is under investigation.
