Min Uffmann



Min B. (Koenig) Uffmann, 97, Springfield, formerly of Belle and Owensville, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at Spring Valley Skilled Nursing.
She was born Dec. 13, 1922, to Fred Henry and Katherine Danuser Koenig, near Belle.
She was united in marriage to Albert William Frank Uffmann, Jan. 22, 1948.
Min was employed in various positions including as a school teacher, a processor at Army Finance Center in St. Louis during WWII, as an office manager for the city of Owensville, an accountant for O’Sullivan Industries, as an office manager for McQueen Chevrolet and LaRue Investments in Brainerd, Minn. She was a lifetime member of Cox Auxiliary and a longtime member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Katherine; husband, Albert; sisters, Helen Riefer, Georgia Neese and Lorene Opitz; and brothers, Fred H. Koenig Jr., Herman T. Koenig and Chriss J. Koenig.
She is survived by son, Richard Koenig Uffmann and wife Susan; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are private and interment is planned in Owensville. Memorial contributions suggested to the Choral Scholars Fund at First and Calvary Presbyterian Church in Springfield.
