Norma J Robertson Nee Goodman, 85, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023.
She was born Nov. 14, 1937, to Eugene and Dorothy (Brown) Goodman in St. Louis. Norma was a graduate of Dixon High School.
She was united in marriage to Donald Robertson, May 29, 1969 in Hancock.
Norma worked in the healthcare field for most of her working life, earning her licensed practical nursing degree from Nichols Career Center. She retired from the Maries Manor nursing home in Vienna. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a life-long member of the Hancock Christian Church.
Norma enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and crafting. She and Donald spent many happy times at their retreat on the Gasconade River when they were not spoiling their grandchildren
She was predeceased by husband, Donald; parents, Eugene and Dorothy; sister, Sheila Seaton; brothers, Warren and Robert Goodman; and grandsons Cody Robertson and Anthony Cook.
Norma will be greatly missed by children, Dorothy and husband Jonathan Rex of Dixon and Leslie and wife Tina Robertson of Belle; grandchildren, Tyler and Zana Robertson and Ethan Rex; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kenner Church in Hayden Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kenner Cemetery in lieu of flowers.
