Norma June Wehmeyer, 84, of Owensville, passed away Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born Aug. 2, 1939, to Robert and Emma (Hafner) Shanks in Belle.
She was united in marriage to Franklin Delano Wehmeyer, April 17, 1960, at First Baptist Church.
Norma was a member of Church of Christ of Owensville. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandsons, cross stitching, crocheting and cooking.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Emma; husband, Franklin; and daughter, Cheryl Wehmeyer.
She is survived by children, Gary Wehmeyer and significant other Laura Etzel of Owensville and Tricia Ridder and husband Dustin of Bay; sister, Mildred “Mickey” Rogers and husband Wayne of Hazelwood; grandchildren, Trace and Trigg Ridder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 27, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Larry Harris officiating. Burial was in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
