Phillip Ralph Bailey, 66, Vichy, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020.
He was born Feb. 26, 1954, to Ralph and Gladys (Bailey) Bailey, in Rolla.
He was united in marriage to Carolyn Rodgers, Jan. 12, 1974.
Phillip was a graduate of Maries R-2 School in Belle and attended Linn State Technical College. He was employed as a carpenter and later a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Vichy Community Church. He was a past Grand Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Gladys.
He is survived by wife, Carolyn, of Vichy; children, Jasa Bailey-Armijo of St. Louis and Jacob Bailey of Springfield; sisters, Gloria Bollinger of Florida, Beverly Hunt and husband David of O’Fallon, Charlotte Curran of St. Charles, Beverly Wiles of Belle and Peggy West and husband Joe of Vichy; and two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A celebration of life was held Monday, May 11, in the Rolla Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary.
