Priscilla Jewell Evans, 91, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon.
She was born July 13, 1932, to Samuel Clyde and Nannie Christine (Rennau) Mallicoat in Kansas City.
She united in marriage to Clyde Amos Evans, Dec.6, 1952, in Yuma, Ariz.
Priscilla was a member of the United Methodist Church of Vienna. She worked for the U.S. Geological Survey in Rolla retiring in 1994 after 20 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Nannie; husband, Clyde; daughter, Mitzi Bothwell; brother, Jack Mallicoat; and sister, Mame Henderson.
She is survived by sons, Robert Evans of Ganns, Okla. and Anthony “Tony” Evans of Dixon; son-in-law, Daniel Bothwell of Carthage; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Following Mrs. Evans wishes, cremation was elected under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
