Randall Charles Young, 64, Lakewood, Calif., passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020, in Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Lakewood, Calif., after suffering a stroke in April 2020.
He was born Aug. 3, 1955, to John Earl and Nellie Lucille (Henderson) Young, at San Antonio, Texas.
He was first united in marriage to Helen Louise Tharp in the state of California. She preceded him in death. He was later united in marriage to Mei Ling Chang, Jan. 31, 2008, at Long Beach, Calif.
Randall was a computer software engineer for NavCom Technologies, Inc., Torrance, Calif., designing satellite GPS navigation systems used in farming for John Deere Company, retiring in 2018 after 40 years.
He was also preceded in death by parents, John and Lucille; sisters, Joann Elaine Young and infant Joy Laverne Young.
He is survived by wife, Mei Young, of the home; daughters, Nicole Delk and husband John of San Marcos, Calif., and Corina Velasquez and husband Mario of San Francisco, Calif.; step-children, Roger Chang of Lakewood, Calif., Phillip Deck of Uganda, Africa, and Cinamin Venezia of Frankfort, Ind.; and sister, Janice Morgan and husband Charles of Vienna.
A private family gathering will be held Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Vienna Public Cemetery for his interment.
