Richard Wiley Reeves, 57, Vienna, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, in SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
He was born Oct. 1, 1962, to James William Sr. and Alpha Rose (Burris) Reeves, in Maries County.
He was united in marriage to Kay Michelle Havens, Oct. 25, 1996, at Rolla.
Richard worked at Quaker Windows Products Company in Freeburg and at the time of his passing was a final assembler in the Wood GeoMetric Department.
He was preceded in death by parents, James and Alpha; brothers, James, Thomas, Paul and Danny Reeves; and sister, Rose Ward.
He is survived by wife, Kay, of the home; children, Ashley Grisham and husband Josh of Rolla, Nicki Kleffner and husband Waylon of Freeburg, Ellen Reeves of St. Elizabeth and Richard Sullivan of Tuscumbia; brothers, Roy Reeves and wife Nancy of Vienna, Kenny Reeves and wife Mona of McGirk, Gary Reeves of Jefferson City and Robert Reeves of Vienna; sisters, Peggy Faughn of Poplar Bluff, Sally Jo Distler and husband Joe of Jefferson City and Judy Warnecke and husband Gary of New Douglas, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 1, at in the Church of Christ, Vienna, with John Roberson and Jim Parker officiating. Interment was in Vienna Public Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society.
