Postponed from June 27 due to rain, a large crowd enjoyed the Bland fireworks show on Saturday. Before the sun went down, children expended their excess energy on the park’s playground equipment. The show was organized by the Bland Park Board. Proceeds from food sales at the event will be used to help fund the annual fall festival.
