Stephen Lee Kelsey, 76, of Dixon, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at his residence in Dixon.
He was born April 20, 1947, to Virgle Lester and Ruth Juanita (Jackson) Kelsey in Richland.
He was first united in marriage to Dianna Sue Kelsey, April 4, 1966, at Laquey, who preceded him in death. Stephen was later united in marriage to Jayne Annette Perkins, Aug. 5, 2017, in Audubon, Iowa.
Stephen was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dixon; the Masonic Lodge No. 385 A. & F., Richland; and the National Rifle Association. He was the owner and operator of both the SD Landscaping and SJ Landscaping for many years, as well as, working for Hauck Chevrolet, and a manager with Walmart, both of St. Robert.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Dianna; son, Shannon Isaac Kelsey; and parents, Virgle and Ruth.
He is survived by wife, Jayne of the home in Dixon; children, Julie Ann Pinnow and companion Jeremy Bull of Racine, Wis., Patricia Walser of Faquay Varina, N.C., Randal Gibson (Misty) of Springfield, Eugene Huck of LaVista, Neb., and Jonathan Perkins of Edmond, Okla.; daughter-in-law, Valerie Kelsey of Ozark; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Dwain Kelsey (Mary) of Marshfield; and sister, Carolyn Schuetterburg (Donald) of Hot Springs Village, Ark.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 28, at First Baptist Church, Dixon, with Rev. Jack Caple officiating. A Masonic service and interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Laquey.
Memorials suggested to Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Columbia; Hospice Compassus, Lake Ozark; or the First Baptist Church, Dixon.
